【美國阿拉巴馬州教育廳長一行來訪 本校教育外交向前邁出一大步】
國立屏東大學於5月23日迎接來自美國阿拉巴馬州教育廳的廳長Dr. Eric George Mackey及顧問長Dr. Jason Swan蒞校訪問。近年來，國立屏東大學積極拓展美洲招生市場，藉由此次訪問，展現了教育推廣無邊界的理念。陳永森校長表示，本校已計畫於8月份前往美國拜會多所學校，持續推動國際招生工作，展示了國立屏東大學在國際化進程中的不懈努力。National Pingtung University welcomed Dr. Eric George Mackey, the Superintendent of Education from the Alabama State Department of Education, USA, and Dr. Jason Swan, the General Counsel, to visit the university. In recent years, National Pingtung University has been actively expanding its recruitment market in the Americas. This visit showcased the university's commitment to the concept of borderless education promotion. President Robert Chen expressed that the university plans to visit several schools in the United States in August to continue promoting international student recruitment, demonstrating National Pingtung University's unwavering efforts in the process of internationalization.
在此次訪問行程中，本校特地安排了參觀學習輔助犬教室。訪問團通過實地參觀、觀看訓練成果影片，並由特教中心的專業人員進行詳細解說，使其更深入了解本校在學習輔助犬訓練上的用心及耐心。此外，小學巡禮也是此次訪問的重要交流環節之一。訪問團參觀了屏東市民生國民小學，由洪嘉宏校長親自接待，展示了對此次訪問的高度重視。活動安排精心，包括弦樂團演出和書法教育展示，彰顯西方及中華文化之美，為此次訪問增添了豐富多元的色彩和交流面向。During this visit, our university specially arranged a tour of the Assistance Dogs Classroom. The delegation participated in an on-site tour, watched training outcome videos, and received detailed explanations from professional staff at the Special Education Center. This allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the dedication and patience involved in our assistance dog training program. Additionally, a visit to Minsheng Primary School in Pingtung City was also an important part of this exchange. The delegation was personally received by Principal Hung, showcasing the high regard for this visit. The activities were meticulously planned, including a performance by the string orchestra and a calligraphy demonstration, highlighting the beauty of Western and Chinese cultures. These events added rich and diverse elements to the visit and fostered meaningful cultural exchange.
在交流討論會議中，本校國際事務長陳皇州分享了教育部委由本校辦理「國外教育見實習及國際史懷哲計畫」的核心理念。該計畫旨在為師資生及實習學生提供更多元的管道，精進其教學知識，培養具備國際化視野的專業教師。這項計畫是臺灣在教師培訓領域的重要進步，期望未來透過與各國的深度合作，進一步提升計畫的多樣性和影響力。華語教學中心黃蘭棻主任接力分享本校華語教學成果，同時說明本校開設的華語密集訓練班、華語專班、客製化課程、華語文化體驗課，以及華語師資培訓，提供多元華語學習及師資培育管道，成為我國推動華語輸出政策的助力。透過兩場簡報分享，體現本校推動國際化方面的努力與成就，也為學生創造了更為多元和開放的學習環境，進一步提升了國立屏東大學在全球教育界的競爭力與影響力。During the Exchange and Discussion meeting, Dean of International Affairs Kelvin Chen shared the core concepts of the "Borderless Teachers" program, commissioned by the Ministry of Education and managed by our university. This program aims to provide pre-service teacher students and interns with more diverse opportunities to enhance their teaching knowledge and cultivate professional teachers with an international perspective. This initiative represents a significant advancement in Taiwan's teacher training field, and it is hoped that through deepened cooperation with various countries, the diversity and impact of the program can be further enhanced. Director Lan-Fen Huang of the Chinese Language Teaching Center continued by sharing our university's achievements in Chinese language teaching. She also introduced the Seasonal Intensive Mandarin Chinese Programs, Customized Mandarin Chinese Courses, Cultural Experience Activities, and Teacher Training Programs offered by the university. These initiatives provide diverse pathways for Chinese language learning and teacher training, supporting Taiwan's policy of promoting Chinese language abroad. Through these two presentations, the university's efforts and achievements in promoting internationalization were demonstrated, creating a more diverse and open learning environment for students. This further enhances National Pingtung University's competitiveness and influence in the global education arena.
