【國立屏東大學與泰國宋卡王子大學深化合作，雙聯學位計畫再創新局】
2024年8月20日，泰國姊妹校宋卡王子大學生物醫學工程學系的Surapong Chatpun副教授蒞臨本校進行訪問。此次訪問期間，Surapong副教授參觀了應用物理系的多間先進實驗室，深入了解該系的研究環境與教學設施，主要目的是推動應用物理系雙聯學位合作計畫，為兩校的長期學術合作注入新的動力。On August 20, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Surapong Chatpun from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, visited our university. During the visit, Assoc. Prof. Surapong Chatpun toured several advanced laboratories in the Department of Applied Physics and gained an in-depth understanding of the department's research environment and teaching facilities. The main purpose of this visit was to promote the dual degree cooperation program in the Department of Applied Physics, injecting new momentum into the long-term academic collaboration between the two universities.
在會談中，施百俊副校長對雙方合作的進展表示了高度肯定。他認為，雙聯學位的實質合作不僅能為學生提供更加多元的學習資源與拓展國際視野，還能深化兩校之間的學術交流與資源共享。施副校長特別強調，這種跨國合作將有助於學生在全球化背景下提升競爭力。宋卡王子大學的Surapong Chatpun副教授也對未來的合作前景表示樂觀，期待與屏東大學攜手開創更多學術合作的機會。During the meeting, Vice President Bai-jiun SHIH expressed high praise for the progress of the collaboration between the two institutions. He believes that the substantial cooperation in the dual degree program not only provides students with more diverse learning resources and broadens their international perspectives but also deepens academic exchanges and resource sharing between the two universities. Vice President Shih particularly emphasized that this transnational cooperation will enhance students' competitiveness in a globalized context. Assoc. Prof. Surapong Chatpun from Prince of Songkla University also expressed optimism about the future of the collaboration, looking forward to creating more opportunities for academic cooperation with Pingtung University.
此外，施百俊副校長在致詞中提到，去年5月本校已經與Surapong Chatpun副教授有過會面，此次重逢不僅毫無生疏感，反而重拾了熟悉的友誼，加深了雙方的合作默契。目前，本校也有一位來自宋卡王子大學的實習生，這進一步體現了兩校之間緊密的交流與合作。Furthermore, Vice President Shih mentioned in his speech that our university had already met with Assoc. Prof. Surapong Chatpun in May last year. This reunion was not unfamiliar, but instead rekindled a sense of familiarity, further strengthening the collaborative rapport between the two sides. Currently, our university also hosts an intern from Prince of Songkla University, further exemplifying the close exchange and cooperation between the two institutions.
另外，屏東大學理學院詹勳國院長、學務長黃鐘慶副教授、副院長許慈芳副教授、國際合作組組長林欣慧副教授、國際學生組組長陳佑副教授也參與了此次會議。詹勳國院長在會中積極討論雙聯學位的合作事宜，致力於為本校學生爭取更多學習機會。Additionally, Prof. Dr. Hsun-Grow Chan, Dean of the College of Science; Assoc.
