國立屏東大學近日熱烈歡迎印尼瑪琅伊斯蘭大學副校長Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, M.Pd蒞校訪問。此行旨在加強兩校間的國際教育合作，並推廣本校多元學術項目。屏東大學校長陳永森教授（Prof. Dr. Robert Y.S. Chen）特別穿著具印尼傳統文化象徵的服飾（Batik），以展現對來賓的誠摯歡迎及雙方友好關係。National Pingtung University recently gave a warm welcome to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, M.Pd, Vice President of Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA), Indonesia, during his visit to the university. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen international educational cooperation between the two universities and to promote Pingtung University’s diverse academic programs. President Robert Y.S. Chen (Prof. Dr. Robert Y.S. Chen) of Pingtung University wore traditional Indonesian batik attire to express sincere hospitality and symbolize the friendly relationship between the two institutions.
此次訪問的重點在於鼓勵印尼學生申請屏東大學的碩士學位課程及參與本校正在積極推展的新型專班。瑪琅伊斯蘭大學副校長Dr. Muhammad Yunus表達了對台灣交換學習計畫的支持，並表示將推動更多學生來台，探索包括新型專班在內的多樣學習機會。雙方也討論了未來進一步合作的可能性，尤其是針對如何更好地培養具備國際競爭力的人才進行深入交流。陳皇州國際長（Prof. Dr. Kelvin H.-C. Chen）也表示，計劃於12月底訪問印尼，期待雙方有機會進行深度合作洽談。The focus of the visit was to encourage Indonesian students to apply for Pingtung University’s master's degree programs and participate in the university's newly developed iSMART programs. Vice President Dr. Muhammad Yunus expressed his support for Taiwan’s student exchange programs and mentioned his commitment to promoting more Indonesian students to study in Taiwan, exploring various educational opportunities, including the new specialized programs. Both sides also discussed the potential for further collaboration, particularly in nurturing internationally competitive talents. Prof. Dr. Kelvin H.-C. Chen, Director of International Affairs, announced plans to visit Indonesia in late December, hoping for deeper cooperative discussions between the two universities.
