National Pingtung University’s College of Management Successfully Hosted the International Conference on Business Sustainability and Innovation Management on October 25th!
國立屏東大學管理學院10月25日舉辦「永續經營與創新管理國際研討會」，研討會主題涵蓋10個主題：人力資源與組織、行銷管理、財務金融、會計資訊、大數據與智慧商務、不動產經營、休閒事業經營、國際企業管理、永續與創新，其其他相關領域等，緊密結合學術研究與產業實務。
The College of Management at National Pingtung University hosted the International Conference on Business Sustainability and Innovation Management on October 25th. The conference covered 10 topics: human resources and organization, marketing management, finance, big data and smart business, real estate management, leisure management, international business management, sustainability and innovation, and other related issues.
研討會由陳永森校長和管理學院廖曜生院長致開幕詞，大會貴賓有曾紀幸副校長、劉英偉副校長、陳皇州國際長及管理學院各系所主任出席。
President Robert Y.S. Chen and Dean Jason Y.S. Liao of the College of Management opened the conference. Distinguished guests included Vice President Professor Tseng, Vice President Professor Liu, Dean of International Affairs Professor Chen, Associate Dean Dr. Pan, and department heads from the College of Management.
開幕後進行兩場專題演講，首先由越南肯特大學的 Dr. Phan Ahn Tu教授發表《The Good, The Bad, and The Best–A Re-examination of Firm-Level Bribery and Firm Performance in Vietnam》，探討越南企業賄賂行為與其績效的關聯。
The conference featured two keynote speakers. First, Prof. Phan Ahn Tu from Can Tho University in Vietnam presented “The Good, The Bad, and The Best – A Re-examination of Firm-Level Bribery and Firm Performance in Vietnam,” discussing the relationship between corporate bribery and business performance in Vietnam
接著由泰國宋卡王子大學的 Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit教授發表《Empowering Sustainable Futures: Education’s Role in Driving Decarbonization and Global Collaboration》，強調教育在推動全球減碳與合作中的重要性。
Next, Prof. Janya Chanchaichujit from Prince of Songkla University in Thailand delivered a speech titled “Empowering Sustainable Futures: Education’s Role in Driving Decarbonization and Global Collaboration,” emphasizing the crucial role of education in driving global carbon reduction and fostering international cooperation.
今年研討會吸引越南與泰國姊妹校參與，越南肯特大學姊妹校10位學生以英文口頭發表7篇論文。此外，來自全國各大專院校師長與同學，通過口頭報告、海報展示以及專題製作等不同形式，共發表80多篇論文，大會並選出2篇最佳論文及4篇佳作論文。
This year’s conference attracted participants from sister universities in Vietnam and Thailand. Ten students from Can Tho University, our Vietnamese partner, presented seven papers in English. Additionally, professors and students from universities nationwide contributed 80 more papers through oral presentations and poster displays, along with six undergraduate capstone project presentations. The conference awarded two papers with Best Paper distinctions and honored four others with Merit awards.
短短一天研討會，會場氣氛十分熱烈，圍繞永續經營與創新管理議題進行交流，分享豐碩研究成果。本屆研討會不僅為學生提供寶貴學習機會，也為學校帶來豐富學術資源，強化國際學術鏈結，促進彼此專業領域的互動與合作。
The conference created an engaging atmosphere. Participants actively discussed topics in business sustainability and innovation management while sharing valuable research insights. It provided students with valuable learning opportunities, enriched the school's academic resources, strengthened international academic ties, and fostered professional interaction and cooperation.
