國立屏東大學4月23日熱烈歡迎來自泰國姊妹校孔敬大學理學院國際暨公共事務交流副院長Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai與其4名學生，這次的訪問標誌著兩校在學術合作和交流上邁向更深入的合作。這不僅促進了學生之間的交流，也進一步加強了雙方在學術和未來合作議題的探討。National Pingtung University (NPTU) warmly welcomed Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai, the Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Public Communication from the Faculty of Science at Khon Kaen University, Thailand, and four students. This visit marks a deeper collaboration in academic cooperation and exchanges between the two institutions. It not only facilitated interactions among students but also further strengthened discussions on academic topics and future collaborative initiatives between both universities.
自從兩校理學院於111年12月簽署學術合作意向書以來，雙方在理學院的學術合作及互惠已見成果。Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai於3月底抵達臺灣，參與本校EMI教師專業成長交流活動、理學院院際學術活動課程以及雙聯學位合作洽談。此外，Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai與相關領域的師長亦進行學術討論及研究合作交流，展示雙方學術合作的深度與廣度。Since the faculties of science at both universities signed an academic cooperation agreement in December of the 111th year of the Republican calendar, there have been fruitful outcomes in academic cooperation and mutual benefits. Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai arrived in Taiwan at the end of March and participated in our university's EMI (English as Medium of Instruction) teacher professional development exchange activities, inter-faculty academic events, and discussions on dual degree collaborations. Additionally, Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai engaged in academic discussions and research collaborations with faculty members in related fields, demonstrating the depth and breadth of the academic cooperation between the two universities.
屏東大學陳永森校長在接見Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai時指出，疫情後，加強國際教育合作尤為重要。屏東大學將提供境外學生更多學習機會和申請入學管道，例如教育部推動的新型專班(iSMART programs)，也是未來兩校合作的重點指標之一，此次訪問不僅加深了雙方的學術與文化聯繫，也為未來在更廣泛領域的合作奠定了堅實的基礎。During the meeting with Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai, President Chen emphasized the importance of strengthening international educational cooperation post-pandemic. National Pingtung University will offer more learning opportunities and admission pathways to international students, such as the new iSMART programs promoted by the Ministry of Education, which are also a key focus for future cooperation between the two universities. This visit not only deepened the academic and cultural ties between the two sides but also laid a solid foundation for future collaboration in broader fields.
本校國際事務處陳皇州國際事務長表示，孔敬大學在應用物理和科學傳播領域的專業知識是雙方長期合作的重點。這次的訪問進一步鞏固了孔敬大學作為重要姊妹校的地位，我們期待透過友好互訪，進而鼓勵更多泰國學生來臺追求學術卓越，共同培養具有國際視野的新一代。屏大歡迎更多境外學生的加入，以及未來更多的國際合作機會。我們相信，屏大與孔敬大學的友誼將將促成未來臺灣與泰國無限合作可能。Kelvin Chen, the Dean of the Office of International Affairs at National Pingtung University, stated that Khon Kaen University's expertise in applied physics and science communication is a focal point of the long-term collaboration between the two institutions. This visit further solidified Khon Kaen University's status as a significant sister university. We look forward to fostering more friendly visits, thereby encouraging more Thai students to come to Taiwan to pursue academic excellence and cultivate a new generation with a global perspective. National Pingtung University welcomes the inclusion of more international students and looks forward to further international collaboration opportunities.
