國立屏東大學與泰國宋卡王子大學（Prince of Songkla University, PSU）在長達九年的合作中，建立了穩固而深厚的友誼。兩校在學術交流及合作項目上頻繁互動，成效斐然。應宋卡王子大學邀請，並由泰國皇室Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana公主主持，本校劉英偉副校長代表出席於113年9月19日舉行的PSU畢業典禮。此次活動不僅是對兩校長久深厚情誼的見證，亦標誌著雙方合作關係的持續深化。劉副校長的此次訪問，象徵著屏東大學與宋卡王子大學攜手邁向新階段，共同推動國際學術合作的願景。National Pingtung University (NPTU) and Thailand's Prince of Songkla University (PSU) have established a strong and deep friendship over the past nine years of collaboration. The two universities have frequently interacted through academic exchanges and cooperative projects, with remarkable achievements. At the invitation of PSU and under the auspices of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana of the Thai Royal Family, Vice President of NPTU, Dr. Ying-Wei Liu, attended PSU’s graduation ceremony on September 19, 2024. This event not only served as a testament to the long-standing friendship between the two institutions but also marked the continuous deepening of their collaborative relationship. Dr. Liu’s visit symbolizes a new phase of cooperation between NPTU and PSU, as they work together toward a shared vision of promoting international academic collaboration.
此次畢業典禮前，宋卡王子校長(President Dr. Niwat Keawpradub)特別安排與劉副校長會面，雙方對兩校間的合作成果深表讚許，並就未來的學術發展與合作方向進行了建設性的交流。劉副校長在典禮會場中表示，他很高興能夠與校長Dr. Niwat Keawpradub及國際副校長（Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot）交談甚歡，並碰到了上個月來訪的Surapon教授。Surapon教授還提到，將會有五位學生前來屏東大學進行交流。Before the graduation ceremony, PSU President Dr. Niwat Keawpradub arranged a meeting with Dr. Liu, where both parties expressed their appreciation for the collaborative achievements between the two universities. They also held constructive discussions on the future directions of academic development and cooperation. During the ceremony, Dr. Liu mentioned how pleased he was to have had engaging conversations with President Dr. Niwat Keawpradub and Vice President for International Affairs Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot. He also met with Professor Surapon, who visited NPTU last month and mentioned plans to send five students for academic exchange at NPTU.
下午的畢業典禮結束後，助理校長Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit設宴款待劉副校長，雙方深入討論了雙聯學位及其他潛在合作專案，期望能夠進一步促成實質合作。本校管理學院潘怡君副院長亦誠摯邀請Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit副教授擔任訂於本（113）年10月25日由管理學院主辦的永續經營與創新管理國際研討會（International Conference on Business Sustainability and Innovation Management）的講者。這不僅彰顯了兩校之間堅定的合作關係，也再次證明了雙方對彼此的高度肯定與信任。這一系列活動不僅強化了兩校間的合作基礎，亦為未來在更多領域的學術合作鋪設了穩固的道路。After the graduation ceremony, Assistant President Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit hosted a dinner for Dr. Liu, where they delved into discussions about dual degree programs and other potential collaborative projects, hoping to further promote substantive cooperation. Dr. Yi-Chun Pan, Vice Dean of the College of Management at NPTU, also extended a sincere invitation to Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit to be a speaker at the upcoming International Conference on Business Sustainability and Innovation Management hosted by the College of Management on October 25, 2024. This not only highlights the steadfast partnership between the two universities but also further reinforces the mutual recognition and trust between them. These activities have not only strengthened the foundation of cooperation between NPTU and PSU but also paved the way for future academic collaborations in more fields.
8月20日，宋卡王子大學生物醫學工程學系Surapong Chatpun副教授蒞臨屏東大學進行學術訪問，參觀了應用物理系的多間先進實驗室，並就雙聯學位合作計畫展開深入探討。此次訪問再一次驗證了兩校間的友誼與合作基礎。屏東大學施百俊副校長在會談中表示，雙聯學位計畫不僅為兩校學生開啟了更廣泛的學術資源共享之門，更深化了兩校在學術研究與國際化教育上的聯繫，這種跨國合作將有助於培育具備全球競爭力的優秀人才。Surapong副教授則對未來合作充滿期待，雙方都期望在未來能夠攜手開創更多元化的學術合作契機，進一步鞏固兩校長久以來的深厚情誼。On August 20, Associate Professor Surapong Chatpun from PSU’s Department of Biomedical Engineering visited NPTU for an academic exchange. During his visit, he toured several advanced laboratories in the Department of Applied Physics and engaged in in-depth discussions on the dual degree collaboration. This visit once again confirmed the solid foundation of friendship and cooperation between the two universities. Vice President of NPTU, Dr. Bai-Jun Shih, emphasized that the dual degree program not only opens doors for students of both universities to share broader academic resources but also deepens academic research and international education ties between the two institutions. This type of cross-border cooperation will help cultivate outstanding talents with global competitiveness. Associate Professor Surapong also expressed great enthusiasm for future collaborations, with both parties hoping to explore more diverse academic cooperation opportunities and further solidify the long-standing friendship between NPTU and PSU.
