【教育學院古芷蓉教師赴泰參與國際研討會,深化Inclusive STEM教育合作契機】
本校教育學院STEM教育國際碩士學位學程教師暨STEM教育中心執行長古芷蓉助理教授,於7月代表本校赴泰國曼谷,參加由朱拉隆功大學(Chulalongkorn University)主辦之CU-KU International Symposium in Education 2025國際研討會,並進行學校參訪與教育交流,深化本校在東南亞地區推動inclusive STEM教育之國際合作網絡。
7月7日,古芷蓉教授參與研討會安排之示範學校參訪活動,前往中小學進行觀課,了解泰國學校如何在課程中實踐素養導向、STEM融入與文化尊重等教學理念。學生展現高度的學校認同感與自我實現(self-actualization),亦反映出泰國社會對教師專業的高度尊敬文化。該經驗對未來設計具文化回應性的師資課程具深刻啟發。
7月8日研討會主會議以Inclusive Society: Innovating for an Inclusive and Equitable Future為主題,古教授除出席主題演講與專題論壇外,亦參與由UNESCO、新加坡南洋理工大學、泰國農業大學等單位學者共同主持之Intersectionality in the Classroom座談,深入交流如何在教學中處理多重身分交織的挑戰。下午的工作坊Utilizing AI Tools for Inclusive Teaching and Learning則提供實作機會,示範如何運用AI工具輔助學生的學習,展現AI在促進教學公平與個別化支持上的潛力。
會議期間,古教授亦與來自泰國、新加坡等地的學者進行跨國對話,並與多位海報發表者針對STEM教育公平性議題進行討論,包含資源分配、學習可及性與文化多樣性等面向,進一步反思未來在師資培育課程中推動教育社會正義之可能策略、差異化學習設計與教師培力機制,並與朱拉隆功大學教育學院院長Prof. Yotsawee Saifah進行會後聯繫,探討後續共同研究、教學模組共開與國際線上工作坊之合作可能。
此次出訪除深化本校與朱拉隆功大學之夥伴關係,更實質擴展本校於包容性教育與STEM教學國際化之實踐經驗,為未來發展區域型跨校合作、強化教師專業發展與推動多語教學創新奠定堅實基礎。
Dr. Chih-Jung Ku, an Assistant Professor in the International Master Program in STEM Education at National Pingtung University, attended the CU-KU International Symposium in Education 2025, which took place at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok in July 2025. The theme of the symposium was Inclusive Society: Innovating for an Inclusive and Equitable Future.
During her visit, Dr. Ku participated in a school tour to observe inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practices in Thai classrooms. She also took part in panel discussions and workshops focused on intersectionality in education and the use of AI tools to support diverse learners.
Dr. Ku engaged with international scholars and poster presenters on STEM education equity. Additionally, he met with the dean of Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Education to explore potential collaborations in joint research and inclusive STEM teaching.
This visit deepened NPTU’s international relationships and played a meaningful role in our ongoing commitment to foster inclusive, equitable, and globally engaged teacher education for all. We believe in the power of collaboration to create a brighter future for educators and their students around the world.
